Anticipation is always on a high when I receive news of a new slot from Netent and this time it rose even higher when I saw the title. Jungle themed can only mean full of action, wild roars and animals, hopefully great animations and ultimately huge win potential as I am not particularly a fan of low variance slots. And I got pretty much what I hoped for. Loading the slot for the first time nearly made me jump off my seat as it starts with a huge tiger roar. Fantastic, this will be great fun, were my first thoughts.

The most important, well for me at least, is that the maximum payout is a huge 7,678 x stake bringing this slot into Dead or Alive territory, which currently is one of my favorites and has given me dozens of 2,500+ x bet wins in the past two years. Expanding Symbol Feature

Each symbol in the game, except for the Scatter symbol, can appear marked by butterflies like the bear on reel 4 in the left image. The marked symbol will expand only if it is part of a winning combination and cover the whole reel, basically tripling the win as the bear on reel 2 in the right image. A small window will pop-up to show the total winnings from the spin. Having five of the same symbols marked with a butterfly would expand all five reels to give a 243-way mega win. Top symbol pays 1,822.5 x stake in the base game and 7,768x stake in the Free Spins with the increased 1,024 ways.

Buttefly Booster Feature

The Butterfly Boost feature activates randomly in the main game when there are no Scatter symbols or symbols marked by butterflies on the reels. It will only happen if it is a winning spin, hence a player will know immediately that this could potentially turn in to a mega win of up to 27 ways of 3 – 5 OAK. The screen will go dark and the butterflies will fly around the reels and expand 1 to 3 symbols that take part in the guaranteed winning combination.

In the image below reels two and four where chosen giving a win of 9-ways of 4OAK elephants, which paid 27x bet. Pretty decent win for that combination.

Free Spins Bonus Round

Get ready to rumble as this is the moment where the slot will have its biggest potential for super mega wins. Hitting 3 to 5 scatters anywhere on the reels will trigger the Free Spin feature. However, no coin win for 2 or 3, but 4 or 5 scatters are awarded with an additional 15 or 50x bet. The game leads to a second screen showing five options with 4 – 20 Free Spins.

The kicker for the bonus round is that the chosen animal will be the only medium symbol on the reels with Tiger as the top symbol only awarding 4 Free Spins but providing at the same time the highest volatility and win potential. Final Words

Well, I have to admit this is an awesome creation from the Swedish studio. Happy to see that they finally designed a medium – high variance game again that is already very entertaining in the base game with the extra features but hides a super mega win potential in the Free Spins round, much like the epic Dead or Alive. With top pays in the base game of 1,822.5x stake and 7,768x in the Free Spins it certainly provides that extra suspense new and seasoned players alike are looking for in a slot game. It will remain to be seen how often we can score those five Tigers marked with a butterfly in Free Spins. Probably not more often than a Wild Line or 5 scatter on DoA but certainly just as profitable. Even the Cobra, the lowest medium symbols would produce a 3,071x bet win with a full 1,024-ways screen, something every player would take home any day of the year.

The design, animations and graphics are intricately crafted, the sounds absolutely fitting to the slot theme and the 3D effects so real that it will have people jumping off their seats. Overall, it is a very entertaining game with that highly desirable super mega win potential and has gone straight into my “must try” category.
