NetEnt, the Swedish provider of digital casino software, has reached an agreement with The Rank Group Plc, a British gambling and leisure group.
The deal will be seen as an important move for NetEnt as it will focus on the regulated UK market, the largest casino market in Europe. The agreement will see NetEnt provide its online casino slot games to the Grosvenor Casino and Mecca brands. Grosvenor Casinos is the largest land-based casino operator in the UK while Mecca has become a leading player in the bingo industry.
Speaking of the deal, Enrico Bradamante, Managing Director of NetEnt Malta Ltd said:

This announcement comes only days after NetEnt announced Maria Hedengren, the companies Chief Financial officer would be leaving the company in order to pursue other interests.

The news is another positive in what has already been a successful year for NetEnt. With Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune set to be released later this week, it’s starting to seem as if 2016 will be a seminal year in the history of the company.
